The Samoan Outrigger Hotel opened in 1994 as we felt there was a need for clean and affordable accommodation in Apia.
We work hard on keeping the facilities clean and up to date.
The colonial building does offer a unique experience and provides our guests with an ambience that sets us apart from many standard hotels in the area.
Given that the building is historic, the layout and facilities may have quirks compared to newer builds. For many guests this adds to the charm!
Because the property is more modest compared to high-end hotels, amenities may be simpler ~ for example: some rooms do not have air-conditioning, ~ so checking your preferred room type is important.
The hotel is managed daily by its owners: Claus and Laena Hermansen
